Hello! My name is Liselotte
and I'm a Swedish post-op TS woman/girl. I found your page by a happy
accident. I have a little stupid question, but I promise you that I'm
serious. Are all the women/girls
Then, I thought, I'm going
to give this guy a piece of my mind. I started to type an email, but I
calmed down a bit and decided to read on. At the bottom of your intro,
I found your explanation of why you use that term. And, it makes a lot
of sense and, hopefully, will enlighten some narrow minds.
Just read your article. Have to compliment you on your insight regarding male-female relationships: Spot on!
I know I've been reading your site at least since my third space-Decatur Public Library days, so for about three years. Today I spent some time on your article about "admirers."
I just attended my first Southern Comfort after wanting to for four years. It was my way of personally celebrating my hard-won solvency (the NEW "coming out," and the NEW aphrodisiac of our times -- believe me!) I introduced myself to many girls there as an admirer, and they seemed not to mind, or at least to understand my meaning. If I'm in a comfortable social environment, I'm quite friendly, not at all lurking. I'm there to meet and greet, and I do! I had a FABULOUS time, by the way.
I've read a lot of Lynn Conway and Joan Roughgarden (umich.edu). I'm Renee Reyes' neighbor near Decatur, GA (wish I were her friend), and I love her site. I'm on PINKEssence, URNA, and the British Transtastic.com (highly recommended. The Brits really have more sense of irony and humor!)
So...what should I call myself now? I love Renee's term "paratrexual" whch I've Bogarted since 2008. I also recently came across "transamo(u)rist" which has a Romantic Intellectual [Anais] Nin-esque ring that I like.
TGirls, let the guys who contact you know about this website. Please run a link to our homepage, or to any page you find of importance.
